For years, I’ve been struggling with brain fog, exhaustion, health challenges, and just being kind of burned out, honestly. I’d forgotten what it was like to want to write, as opposed to needing to write—to hit deadlines, to make a living, to do the thing. I couldn’t remember the last time I fell into flow state instead of forcing myself to chop each word out of the matrix like a foothold chopped in ice. Instead of waiting for inspiration, I had to go out and, to quote Jack London, get it with a club.
When you are afraid to jinx it, but for the first time in a long time, the writing is going really well.
Good on you.
which supplements, out of interest? i am wading through smog at the moment. :-(
This is truly one of the best feelings. I’m so glad you’re getting to experience it right now.
